Welcome to Year 3! We are so excited to welcome to your new school year.

This is our Year 3 building
The toilets for each class are next to their classroom door, we share the sinks.
Useful Information
The children will line up on the infant playground from 8:45am and will go into their classrooms at 8:50am to be registered at 9:00am. Children arriving later than this must be taken to sign in at the office before being brought to the classroom by an adult.

School ends at 3:30pm, the children will be brought out of their classrooms by their teacher and will be dismissed one at a time one their adult has been seen.

Children should bring a book bag/rucksack and a water bottle. All items brought or worn to school must be clearly named, please!

The children are allowed to bring one healthy snack to eat at morning break - this should only be fruit or vegetables. They do not need an afternoon snack. We ask that only healthy snacks are brought in to school; if unhealthy snacks are brought in we will ask that they are put back in bags to take home. All items must be completely free of even traces of nuts or seeds, due to significant health concerns of other students. Thank you for your support on this important matter.

Swimming
Both classes have Swimming on a Monday.
The children will swim alternate weeks. They will be split in to two groups and we will let the children know which group they are in. All children will need a swimming cap. Girls need a one piece suit and boys need swimming trunks not shorts. In addition, they will need to bring goggles if they need these. Earrings need to be removed and no nail varnish or temporary tattoos should be worn in the pool.

PE
Miss Abbott's class will have PE on Wednesdays.
Mrs Woods class will have PE on Tuesdays.
Children should wear a white T-shirt and black shorts or tracksuit bottoms, along with a black or navy jumper/hoody and trainers. Earrings must be removed or taped for P.E and long hair must be tied back. Wherever possible we will do PE outside, so layers will be needed in the colder months.
